2016 RTP Grant – Peavine Trail Maintenance  

We have submitted for a 2016 RTP Grant to re-route and re-align the Total Recall and Stage Coach Trails of the Peavine Mountain Trail Network. Both these trails are older user created trails that were adopted by the USFS into the Trail Network around 2017. They are high use trails., but have poor alignment, unsustainable construction and have sections that cross private property.  This project will re-route and re-align both trails off private property and bring the trail up to USFS and IMBA sustainable standards and guidelines. The grant funds will be used to hire GBI crews to finish up the re-aligned trails behind our Sutter 300 Mini Dozer.
