2015-16 Halo Connector and B-Lite Trail Extension
We received USFS approval for the Halo Connector Trail in the Fall of 2015. The Sutter 300 and over 100 hours of volunteer time were used to complete the trail, also in the Fall of 2015. The Halo Connector is a .27-mile trial connecting the mid-point of the Halo Trail with the high point of the Snow Terrace trail. The trail offers more loop options and a bailout for folks finding the Halo a bit too advanced.
In Spring of 2016 we received approval from the USFS to build the B-Lite Trail extension. Using our Sutter 300 Mini Dozer to cut the trail and over 300 hours of volunteer labor the .83 miles of new trail was completed in time to be used as part of the 2016 Battle Born Enduro Race, May 14, 2016. The trail is a nice addition to the Peavine Trail Network and provides better access to the upper trail network and options for more loops.
