NE Peavine Trail planning

This project is funded by $50 2021-22 RTP Grant

The scope of this project is to conduct trail planning activities including required NEPA studies using private contractors with the objective to obtain categorical exclusion approval from the US Forest Service for 12.7 miles of new sustainable non-motorized multi-use single track recreational trails on the North East side of Peavine Mountain.  
 
The scope of work and measurable goals includes:

  • Work with Forest Service to develop scope of work for required NEPA studies
  • Flagging of proposed trail corridors with Forest Service supervision
  • Contracting private and volunteer contractors to complete NEPA studies
  • Assisting Forest Service with any required public scoping
  • Working with the Forest Service to obtaining categorical exclusion approval for the new trails
