Visiting Reno
There is a shortage of camping in the Reno area. The closest camping would be the Sparks Marina RV park(15 min), the KOA at Boomtown exit in Verdi(20 min), or Washoe County’s Davis Creek Park in Washoe Valley South of Reno(25 min). There are also multiple Forest Service and State Park campgrounds near Truckee with Boca Reservoir being the closest.
