Quality Bike Parts has pledged to donate $5000 to BLTS to help with the construction of the City of Reno Sierra Vista Park Bicycle trails that BLTS will be building in the spring of 2019. Thank you QBP.

Trail Maintenance- The grant will be used on the following items/projects
$2400-paid Trail Crew time provided by contractor, Nevada Conservation Corps, or Nevada Division of Forestry
$500-Hand Tools for use by BLTS volunteers
Signage improvements-
$250- additional signage for Washoe County areas on Non motorized recreation zone
$500- sign posts and hardware
$1350- Graphic designer to do design and layout of new Trailhead kiosks funded by an RTP grant. This will be usable as part of our required grant match, leveraging the REI funds to complete additional work.

2017 REI Awards BLTS $5K StewARDSHIP GRANT
APRIL 2017, REI awarded the Biggest little Trail Stewardship with a $5000 grant from their Stewardship Grant Program. These funds will be used very quickly to help repair the 2016/17 winter’s heavily damaged recreational trails on Peavine Mountain. Including the repair and reroute of the Keystone Canyon Trail. We are very appreciative of this generous grant that shows the commitment of REI to support local community trails. Thank you REI.
